Going on a first date can be intimidating. It can be exciting and nerve racking at the same time. First dates don't always turn out well. There are too many reasons why if you try to analyze them. Please don't try to figure out what went wrong! Instead, focus on making a fun first date. A first date where you present your best self.
Creativity makes everything fun and interesting. When you put a little thought into creating a fun first date, you will reap the rewards. I've been on my share of lame first dates. Before I knew any better, first dates were movies or dinner or coffee or drinks. These all can be great when coupled with adventure. What's more exciting and thoughtful than these options?
Activity First Dates. Combine a fun activity with food or drinks after. Here's some examples: Go bowling! (Bowling is fun no matter how much you or your date suck at it.) Go to the park or play on the swings. Go to an arcade (preferably one with a bar.) Actively playing with someone creates a faster and stronger bond. After a couple hours, you'll know if you want to continue the date.
I'd like to offer another activity. Burma Cooking Class. I'm teaching a noodle class. And if you are planning a first date, I'd like to offer my services. You can buy 2 tickets for your activity date. Or you can share one spot. Cooking together creates intimacy and teamwork. You present yourself as adventurous and skilled (I'll make you look like a pro!) all within 2 hours. If either of you are not having fun by the end, you can end the date after class. If you are having fun, there are a few bars and restaurants around the corner. Let me know if you are interested.
